SVG Cutting Files with Peachy Keen Stamps Blog Hop

Hi, Emily here! Welcome to another fun blog hop! Today the Design Team members for Peachy Keen Stamps are getting to work with the fabulous Design Team for SVG Cutting Files!

SVG Cutting Files have wonderful cutting files and your Peachy Keen Stamps will work great with them.

If you've come from talented Candace's Blog then you are in the right spot.

For my first project, I used the fun Kawaii Milk and Cookies Gift Box Slider set. This set is so cool! Please go to the SVG cutting files website to see Annie Kelly's version. It is so cute!!

I added some chocolate chips to the slider part and then added glossy accents on each chip. I wanted to give it the melted chocolate look.

For the cookie face I used PK's 4" Happy Lashes with open mouth and tongue out. I thought it was a perfect face for this cookie.

The cow, milk bottle, and sentiments all come from the new PKSC-17 May Stamp of the Month Set.

The milk letters were stamped from PK's Lucy's ABC's and 123's Solids

For this next project, I used the Jack Be Nimble file and the Play Ball file. The little boy is from Jack and his soccer shoes are from the Play Ball file. I think he turned out great.

For the little boy face I used PK's Boy Mates and merged two faces.

The "Thank you" sentiment was an exclusive stamp for purchases PK products.

The "Coach" sentiment also comes from Lucy's ABC's and 123's solids.

The "You're the Best" sentiment comes from PKSC-08 August 2012 Stamp of the Month set.

This next project, I used the Wedding file. It has all kinds of fun wedding cuts such as this couple, a ring, a dove, and more.

The card base comes from the Ornate Card Base file.

SVG Cutting Files has a lot of other great card bases! Make sure you check them all out along with all their other great files!

I created this card for my cousin who is getting married this weekend. I'm so excited for her!

For the groom face, I used PK's Retro Faces.

For the bride face, I used PK's Laughy Taffy faces.

For the sentiment, I used PK's Love Birds and Sentiments.

We will be giving away two $35 Gift Certificates (1 from PKS and 1 from SVG Cutting Files) for each day of the hop. So make sure you visit each blog and leave a comment! What great prizes to be won!

Your next stop is the oh so talented, Lorie! Thanks for stopping on by and happy hopping!!

Happy Mother's Day!: Card

Hi!! Today, I have created a mother's day card!! I just love how this little girl turned out.

I created this cute little card using the new Peachy Keen Stamps that were just released on Sunday. I used PK-209 Life is Good Babies for the eyes and tiny flower on the flowerpot.

The flower in her hair comes from the PK-208 Hey Baby set and the sentiment comes from the PK-206 Female Floatin' Frog set.

The sweet little girl is a cut file from Kadoodle Bug Designs called Summer Breeze Sabrina. The flowers she is holding is from another cut file from KBD called Bunny with flowers.

The card base is cut from Cricut's Art Philosophy Cartridge. I made it a 5" x 7" card to fit in an envelope I already had.

The die cut for the sentiment comes from My Creative Time's Vintage Stitched Label.

Other products used:

Memento Rose Bud and Tuxedo Black Inks
White Gel Pen
Copic Markers
Inkadinkadoo Chalking Inks
American Crafts Pink Baker's Twine
Recollection Pearls

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Peachy Keen Stamp Release: Projects

On Saturday, I shared a sneak peek of the new Peachy Keen stamps. Today, I have a couple of layouts to share today that were created with the new Peachy Keen May Stamps.

Beach Baby Layout

I created this layout using the new PK-209 Life is Good Babies and PK-208 Hey Baby sets. Isn't that baby just oh so cute?!

The baby, the flower, sailboat, sun face, cloud face (lower right), and sentiment all come from the Life is Good Babies set. The crab face and the rest of the clouds faces come from the Hey Baby set.

The cut files all come from Treasure Box Designs' Beach Baby, Sandbox Collection, and Beach Title cut files.

The picture mats are from My Creative Time's Stitched Journal Die.

Farm Friends Layout

For this layout, I used the new PKSC-17 May Stamp of the Month set along with a another PK stamp set. These animals are just so cute and there are also stamps to make them baby like. Such as a diapers, bibs, and bottles.

The pig, flies, cow, sheep, barn weather vane, and most of the sentiments come from the new stamp club set. Now the other animal on there is suppose to be a goat. I wanted to create him to match the picture above. Though I don't know if I really made him look like a goat or not. My son says it does but my hubby thought it was another cow. LOL!

The clouds and the "Welcome to the Funny Farm" sentiment are from PK-122 Funny Farm Set

The arrow and photo mats are from My Creative Time's Stitched Journal die and Mini-frame and Arrow Die.

Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!!

Day 4: Peachy Keen May Stamp Release: Sneak Peeks: Hog Heaven

Hello, today I have a sneak peek for the NEW Peachy Keen Stamp Release!! They are so stinkin' cute and Kathy has done a fantastic job yet again!!

If you have missed any of the other sneak peeks days, please head on over to the Peachy Keen Stamp Blog to check out all of the DT's creations.

Here is my sneak peek:

Isn't this pig just the cutest?!! He comes from the new PKSC-17 May 2013 Stamps of the Month Set. He is one of the three cutie patootie animals in this set.

I stamped and paper pieced this cutie onto pink Recollection's card stock. I colored the ears, nose, eyes, mouth, and feet with Copic markers. I finished him by adding white gel pen stitching and color chalked his cheeks.

The mud he is sitting in comes from the Hippo's layers on the Cricut Create a Critter Cartridge. The mud splatter comes from the Cricut 3 Birds in a Parade Cartridge. I inked the edges with Tim Holtz's Tea Dye Distress Ink and added white gel pen stitching.

The layered title die cuts are from My Creative Time's Vintage Labels (back) and Dienamics Label Dies (front). I stamped on the front label using Versamark embossing ink and then used MS Snow white embossing powder on it. I finished the label by adding white gel pen stitching again to match the rest of the card. This sentiment also comes from PKSC-17 May 2013 set.

Peachy Keen Challenge: 3D Objects-Flowers

Happy Friday!! Today we have a great challenge for you this week!! Create a 3-Dimensional Project of your choice using flowers and let your creativity run wild!! Simple as that!!

The design team has created some great inspiration for this challenge!! So please head on over to the Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge Blog to see their beautiful projects and don't forget to leave them some love!!

Here is my project:

I just love, love, love the Moodies faces!! They are the cutest!!

I first found my little water pitcher at the Dollar Tree for obviously a dollar. I then stamped on the Moodies 2 1/4" face using Jet Black Stazon ink. It was a little difficult to stamp on a curved surface so it didn't come out perfectly. I went back over some of the areas with a black fine tipped Sharpie. I then paper pieced and colored the eyes and mouth with Copic markers.

The little flowers were created using the Cuttlebug and the Quilled Daisy Set. I cut out two strands of the petals in each color. I inked the edges of each one with coordinating Colorbox cat eye inks. I then rolled the petals with the quilling pen and glued the two strands together.

For the faces, I punched out a (EK Success) 1" circle of yellow card stock and then edged each one with a light orange Colorbox cat eye ink. I stamped on faces from the Moodies face assortment. I finished them off by coloring them with Copic markers and added white gel pen accents.

I glued the circles on the flowers and adhered fake wire stems on the back of the flowers. I filled the pitcher with green Easter grass to create a sturdy base for the flowers. It held the flowers stems perfectly.

The sentiment comes from the PKSC-16 April 2013 Stamp of the Month Set. It was stamped onto a die cut made from My Creative Time's Vintage Stitched Labels die.

I finished it off by adding the ribbon trim from 360 ribbon and bow with jewel accent. A very cheap but cute craft!!

Coolest Crayon in the Box: layout

Hi!! I've got a layout to share with you today. This is was my son's first day of preschool. He was so excited to start and picked this shirt out at the store. So his shirt was the inspiration for this layout.

The title was stamped using Lucy's Solid ABC's and 123's. The adorable little crayons, two sweet faces, and the sentiments come from PKSC-08 August 2012 Stamp of the Month Sets. I also used the "you're" from the new Honey Sentiments. The rest of the faces come from The Moodies face assortment and Simple Simons face assortment. For the middle crayon, I just stamped the Simple Simon face and filled in the glasses with a black gel pen.

I cut the crayon box using Cricut's Simply Charmed Cartridge @ 4 inches. The three PK crayons fit perfectly. The arrow was cut from Cricut's Art Philosophy Cartridge @ 2 inches. The crayon scribble was cut from Cricut's Calligraphy Cartridge @ 1.5 inches.

Other products used:

Memento Bahama Blue, Lady Bug, Tuxedo Black Inks
Recollection's Pop Dots
Color Box Red Cat Eye Ink
White Gel Pen
Target Dollar Twine
Cricut Expression
White Gel Pen
Black Gel Pen
Dienamics Sentiment Strips Die

I had a lot of fun putting this together. I hope you enjoy it too!! Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!!
