My Creative Time-Whatever Wednesday

Good morning! Today is Whatever Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog.

I created a cute little tag to decorate a Easter treat tube using Emma's amazing products. I just love how you can mix and match them to come up with a wonderful project!

For the tag, I used MCT: Just Tag Stamp and Die set. I cut the back layer out of Kraft paper and the front layer out of blue cardstock. I then embossed the front tag layer with the Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls folder.

The little bunny rabbit is a cut file from Miss Kate Cuttables and his face is from Peachy Keen Stamps: Here Kitty Kitty and Cute and Cuddly. I colored his eyes, nose, and mouth with Copic Markers.

I then cut out three little eggs from MCT: Hello Chickie Stamp Set and glued them to the front of the rabbit.

I cut out a strip of grass from MCT: Stitched Grass and stamped on the sentiment from MCT: Fun Gift Pocket Sentiments.

I tied the tag onto the treat tube and then added a bow using the American Crafts gingham ribbon. I found these cute little carrot treat tubes at our local PX. I'm sure you can find them others places as well.

To finish, I added a small heart from MCT: Stitched Sweethearts and XOXO dies.

PKS: April Sneak Peeks: Day #4

Hi, today is day #4 of the Peachy Keen Stamps April Release.

Today we are sneaking the Flamingo Sentiments!! There are so many wonderful sentiments that compliment the beautiful flamingos from the April Stamp of the Month Set.

I first stamped the new polka dot background onto a 4x6 piece cut out using a My Creative Time Die.

I then stamped, paper pieced, and colored the flamingos.

Next, I added the sentiments to the clouds from the new Flamingo sentiments. I inked the outside of the clouds with Colorbox Light Blue Ink.

I cut out the water from KaDoodlebug Design's Pool Party Bears. I added glossy accents on top.

I finished the card by stamping the leaves and adding them to look like they are coming out of the water.

Well that is my sneak for today!! Please make sure you stop by all the designer's pages and leave some love for a chance to win the stamp sneaked.

Also, please join us tomorrow night (4/5 @ 6 p.m. CST) starting at the Peachy Keen Blog for the PKS: April Release Blog Hop. Great creations and prizes to be won!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!!! Have a wonderful night!!

Hi, today is day #2 of the sneak peeks for the PKS: April Release!! This release will have you hopping and bopping!!

We are sneaking The 50′s,  Retro-Bet Round Alphabet, and Checkerboard Background.

So here is my creation:

When I saw these stamps I automatically thought of a 50's diner! The checkerboard background is amazing!! It really helped make the burger stand come to life on the card.

All of the wall decor' are from the new April Stamp of the Month kit as well as the faces.

The cute little cup comes from The 50's.

The girl and burger stand were cut files from SVG Cutting Files.

Thank you so much for stopping by!! Please head on over to the Peachy Keen Stamp blog to check out the other amazing creations by my fellow design team members.

My Creative Time: Thrifty Thursday with a Sketch

Hi, today is Thrifty Thursday over at the My Creative Time blog. We have a fun sketch that we got to work with for today.

So here is what I came up with based on the sketch.

The little duckling comes from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. I replaced the cut file flower with the MCT: Stitched Daisy die. I added glossy accents to the center and covered it with clear glitter.

For the accent piece, I first cut out the MCT: Stitched Curly Die and cut it in half. The little yellow circles were cut out using the MCT: Geotag die. I then added the glossy accents and glitter to them as well.

Next, I added the ribbon from Celebrate It 360.

To finish the card, I cut out a banner from MCT: Just Live Simply Stamp Set and then stamped on a sentiment from MCT: Fun Gift Pocket Sentiments.

Well that is my card!! Thank you so much for stopping by!!! Please head on over to the My Creative Time Blog to see all the rest of the design teams amazing creations!!

My Creative Time: Made In Minutes

Hi, today is Made in Minutes over at the My Creative Time Blog and I am still on a chick kick!

So here is my "Chicks Rule" tag that I made in no time at all!

For the base of the tag, I used MCT: Just Tags Stamp Set. I cut the bottom layer out of Kraft Card Stock. Then I cut the top layer out of Core' Dinations Card Stock and embossed it with a Darice Folder. Then I added Recollection's Ribbon to the top. This took four minutes tops.

I then stamped and paper pieced this adorable hip chick from Peachy Keen Stamps: Faceless Chickens. The face comes from Peachy Keen Stamps: Sunny Side Up Sentiments. I then highlighted the chick with Copic markers and a white gel pen. This took the longest out of anything and it was five minutes. What saved me time was not cutting out the feet.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from MCT: Hello Chickie Stamp Set onto a die cut from MCT: Stitched Square Speech Bubbles. I then adhered it to the tag with pop dots.

To finish, I cut out two strips of grass using the MCT: Stitched Grass die and glued them to the bottom of the tag.
Putting this and the sentiment on took three minutes.

Well that's my project!! Thank you so much for stopping by!! Please head on over to the My Creative Time Blog to see the rest of the design team's amazing creations!!
